The Arctic Energy Alliance went to Inuvik at the beginning of December to participate in their Energy Conservation Fair. We had participation from the schools and the general public. The Pembina Institute hosted some great energy activities at the middle school, and we hosted activities at the actual fair for the college and learning center as well as some of the older students.

The public got involved with the evening workshops throughout the 2 days on:
- safe & efficient wood heating,
- heating with pellets,
- Energy Efficiency Incentive Program (EEIP) and energy star,
- funding for renewable energy & energy efficiency,
- a super energy efficient home,
- winterizing & air sealing your home.

There were lots of interesting energy related door prizes and tonnes of delicious food. Thanks to all who participated and a special thanks to Paul Grech for organizing the event and to Ventek Enterprises Inc. for donating a solar panel as a door prize.
