January provided the opportunity for Sonny Zoe & Ken Baigent to team up on some energy efficiency projects. Sonny completed Level 2 blower door training with Ken, and the focus was on equipment set-up & operation. Together, they identified air leakage patterns within various zones of the house, and then looked deeper into the more common air leakage (heat loss) culprits such as windows, electrical outlets, attic hatches, headers and crawlspaces. Although air sealing is important, we must ensure enough natural or mechanical air supply is provided for combustion appliances and ensure good indoor air quality. This responsibility is managed by Ken and our AEA team of Certified Energy Advisors.

Sonny & Ken worked together on January 28, 2013 to provide a complete EnerGuide Home Evaluation for a long time resident of Edzo. AEA is honoured to be a trusted partner in energy efficiency planning throughout the communities of the Northwest Territories.
