The Arctic Energy Alliance hosted another solar and wind roundtable in March 2013 in order to get more quality systems installed in the NWT. Our goal is to address barriers and generate dialogue between installers and vendors with government and utilities companies. The topics of discussion of this roundtable were: solar shading analysis and how shading affects the output of solar systems; the importance of monitoring systems in the NWT in order to troubleshoot systems and to generate sound business cases; and the new GNWT’s solar energy strategy and how it may affect business here.

If you think you should receive an invite to these events in the future, please let us know by email. We’re also open to suggestions about possible topics/speakers/training needs.
