For the last couple of weeks, Sonny Zoe, Arctic Energy Alliance’s Tlicho Regional Energy Project Coordinator has been working with teachers and students to promote the use of traditional ways to save energy and to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions.  One of the things he has been encouraging people to do is cutting wood by bow saw.  This time of the year everyone uses fire wood to heat their homes so if every household used a bow saw to cut wood it would be very good for the environment.  He is also doing presentations at schools in his region about energy saving and climate change.
