Kate Thomson, of the Arctic Energy Alliance is moving onto greener pastures in eastern Canada and this will be her last enews. Kate has worn many hats over the years, and she wore them all well. Kate leads the Alternative Energy Technology Program, the Energy Efficiency Incentive Program, manages the website, enews preparation and distribution, Facebook and our information technology systems! When Kate has a moment, she is responsible for answering the front desk phone, assisting walk-in clients, maintaining the organization’s public displays and helping luddites work the photocopier; and helping us with our travel arrangements. This list only scratches the surface of Kate’s dedicated service to us that work at the Arctic Energy Alliance and to you, the public we serve.

Any organization would be thrilled to have Kate working for them; lucky for us, Kate chose to work at the Arctic Energy Alliance for the last five years. All of us at the Arctic Energy Alliance have been the beneficiaries of her hard work; a work that is often unseen, unglamorous, and underappreciated; but work necessary for our success.

Kate you will be missed!

Executive Director

PS: We will be taking a break from sending out our monthly newsletter until we can find someone to fill Kate’s big enews shoes.
