We’ve got the power! We are very excited to have the opportunity to host the Arctic Energy Alliance’s (AEA’s) ‘Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Demonstration System’, also known as the Solar Trailer, out at the Northern Farm Training Institute (NFTI) campus.

This 2 panel system is the kind of thing that would be very useful for your off-grid cabin or home. With 4 hours of full sun, it can provide 2,000 Wh. With the sun we receive in our region, we can get 1,100 – 1,200 kWh per year. So what’s your home usage? You can check on your power bill. See if solar panels could make a big difference on your power bill.

Thanks AEA for giving us the opportunity to try out the solar trailer.
