The Arctic Energy Alliance will be trying out a four-day workweek, beginning the week of October 7. Starting then, our offices will be closed on Fridays for at least six months.
The goal is to improve the work/life balance for our staff by giving them longer weekends while keeping roughly the same number of working hours during the week.
What will change for you? Not much. If you contact us on a Friday, we’ll get back to you as soon as possible on Monday. Otherwise, everything else will be the same. We’re still dedicated to working for you—fewer days a week doesn’t mean we’ll be working less. We’ll strive to respond to questions, process rebate applications and conduct home energy evaluations on schedule.
This is a six-month trial, and if all goes well, we may choose to extend the trial or make the change permanent.
