We’re excited to be adding three new staff members to our team so that we once again have people in every region of the NWT.
Our new team members are:
- Patrick Gall, Beaufort–Delta Energy Project Coordinator
- Deniele Husain, Sahtu Energy Project Coordinator
- Zabey Nevitt, Program Coordinator
Patrick is getting our office up and running again in Inuvik. Deniele is in our office in Norman Wells. And Zabey is based in Yellowknife, and will also be working in the communities in the Tłı̨chǫ Territory.
They compliment our regional presence in Fort Simpson (Dehcho), Hay River (South Slave) and Yellowknife (North Slave).
Our offices in the Beaufort–Delta, Sahtu and Tłı̨chǫ regions were closed for a while because of previous staff moving on to other things, and changes to our funding. Although we visited those regions as often as we could, we know it’s not the same as having people dedicated to serving the communities there. So we’re happy to have staff there once again.
